My Designer Felt Garlands are lovingly sewn and customised in line with your wishes. Only high quality materials are used to ensure the finished garland is something you and I can be proud of.
Garlands make fantastic decorations or gifts as you celebrate events throughout the year with family and friends e.g. CHRISTMAS, BIRTHDAY, ENGAGEMENT, MARRIAGE, ANNIVERSARY, NEW BORN, NEW HOME, EXAM SUCCESS, ENGAGEMENT, RETIREMENT; or simply look great hung on a wall, across a fire place or down a staircase all year round e.g. NAME, PEACE, LOVE, JOY, HOPE etc..
Large hearts measure approx. H 11cm, W 11cm when filled; small hearts measure approx. H 7cm, W 7cm when filled.
Cord length depends on number of hearts and is shown below in “Options and Cost”.
Each garland is finished off with 1 small heart at either end which is included in the price.
Whilst the photo examples show garlands with a base colour of red, pink and blue there are a variety of colour options available as mentioned. These items are for decorative purposes and are not toys. Therefore babies / young children should not be left unattended in reach of these items.
Now the fun bit! Deciding on your garland design.
Firstly, choose the base felt colour for your garland. White embroidery thread is used for the outer blanket stitch unless you choose a different colour. Base felt colours currently available are: RED, CANDY PINK, LIME, BABY BLUE, WHITE, LIGHTGREY, YELLOW, SUNFLOWER. Please see photograph above.
Secondly, choose the number of large hearts for your garland. Each large heart can be detailed with a LETTER, STAR or HEART. White felt is used for each detail unless you request a different colour.
Finally, confirm the design required and your choice of base felt colour in the comments box on your order. A 7 Large Star example could be:
STAR – HEART – A – M – Y – HEART – STAR.
Base felt colour could be: LIME
Materials used: Quality wool blend felt available in RED, CANDY PINK, LIME, BABY BLUE, WHITE, LIGHTGREY, YELLOW, SUNFLOWER; silk embroidery thread; top stitch cotton thread; co-ordinating 3mm Berisford Bakers Twist cord or 2mm Berisford Rope cord depending on base felt colour; EN71 compliant soft stuffing.
